This is part of a small corner of the Sunset (Or Parkside, depending on your definition) that wasn't subdivided or developed until 1946. Yorba Street ends and the path begins right on the edge of this development, no doubt as a creative way to squeeze in an extra house or two by narrowing a 50 foot wide street down to a 9 foot wide path.
