Jack Balestreri Way

  • Neighborhood: Potrero Hill
  • Location: From the end of the dead-end block of Carolina Street south of 19th Street to 20th Street
  • Height: 40 feet

Renamed in 2013 in honor of Jack Balestreri, who not only was the last surviving worker who built the Golden Gate Bridge, but also donated part of his pay from working on the bridge to have this stairway built.
